"Violent Thing" was to be the German entry in the Eurovision Song Contest 2020 in Rotterdam, performed by Slovene singer Ben Dolić.
Due to the country's status as a "Big Five" nation, it had direct qualification for the final but as the Contest was later cancelled due to the coronavirus pandemic it was not performed.
