Uku Suviste is an Estonian singer-songwriter and musician who began his career in 2004 by taking part in a music competition, which he continued to do for several years.
In 2005, he participated in local music competition Kaks Takti Ette, finishing in 3rd place. To date, he has released several singles and joined forces with fellow singer Birgit Õigemeel as part of a duo. He participated in the seventh season of the national syndication of The Voice franchise, being eliminated in the semi-finals.
He was selected to represent his home country in the Eurovision Song Contest 2020 in Rotterdam with the song "What Love Is". However, as the Contest was cancelled due to the coronavirus pandemic, the song was not performed.
He returned to represent the country at the Eurovision Song Contest 2021 in Rotterdam with the song "The Lucky One", which failed to qualify from the second semi-final.
