Tommy Nilsson is a Swedish rock singer and songwriter who started his career in the late 1970s as the lead singer of heavy metal band Horizont, releasing two studio albums, before going solo. To date, he has released eight studio albums, two compilation albums, one Christmas album and several singles.

He is best known internationally for representing his home country in the Eurovision Song Contest 1989 in Lausanne with the song "En dag", which finished in 4th place with 110 place, giving the country its best result in four years.

He made another attempt to represent his home country in 2007 but finished in last place in the national final.

He is also best known in his home country for his dubbing work on films and television shows as well as his theatre work and since 2019 he has been a member of the glam metal band Easy Action.
