Eurovision Song Contest Wiki

Svetlana is the stage name of French former singer Claire Loutchek who had a short-lived music career in the early 1980s.

She is best known internationally for representing Luxembourg in the Eurovision Song Contest 1982 in Harrogate with the song "Cours après le temps", which finished in 6th place with 78 points, just 7 points behind the entry by Anna Vissi of Cyprus, who had represented Greece alongside the group The Epikouri two years earlier in The Hague. It was the country's best result in seven years.

Post-Contest, she failed to build on her good result at the Contest and decided to call time on her music career following the release of a fourth and final single in 1983.
