Sophie Lennon is a Northern Irish singer and theatre performer.
She is known for having played Young Fiona in Shrek: The Musical (Belfast) and winning BBC School Soloist of the Year 2022. She also appeared as a performer on Britain’s Got Talent in 2022.
After failing to be selected to represent Ireland the previous year in Paris, she finally won the right to do so at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2022 in Yerevan with the song "Solas", making her the first singer from Northern Ireland to represent the country in the junior edition of the Contest. It finished in 4th place with 150 points, giving the country its best result to date since they began competing seven years earlier.
She is also credited as a co-writer of the country's 2023 Contest entry "Aisling" performed by Jessica McKean and also made an appearance in the music video as well as appearing onstage in Nice alongside the latter, making her the first Irish singer to participate in the junior edition of the Contest in consecutive years.
In 2024, she auditioned for the 19th season of America's Got Talent, making it past the audition round before being eliminated in the deliberations phase.
