Siw Malmkvist is a Swedish singer who began her career in the late 1950s. She continues to be a very popular figure in both her home country and Germany.
She first appeared on the Eurovision stage at the 1960 Contest in London with the song "Alla andra får varann", finishing in 10th place with 4 points.
Her second appearance came nine years later in Madrid, this time representing Germany with the song "Primaballerina", coincidentally finishing in joint 9th place with her home country's representative Tommy Körberg, who performed the song "Judy, min vän".

From 1963 to 1969, she was married to Finnish singer Lasse Mårtenson who represented his home country in the 1964 Contest in Copenhagen
