Eurovision Song Contest Wiki

Rainy Day was a Swiss trio formed in 1982 consisting of Rose Rengel, Franz Müller and Gerry Braukmann. Together they released several singles.

They are best known internationally for representing their home country in the Eurovision Song Contest 1984 in Luxembourg City with the song "Welche Farbe hat der Sonnenschein?", which finished in 16th place with 30 points, just a single point behind the entry by Andy Paul of Cyprus, giving the country its worst result in seventeen years.

Post-Contest, they failed to find lasting success and with the death of Franz Muller toward the end of the decade they decided to part ways.
