Rachel is the professional name of French singer Rachel Ros. After spending her early years working as a lift girl and in the mail administration of a record label, she signed her own deal and went on to release several records.
She is best known internationally for representing her home country in the Eurovision Song Contest 1964 in Copenhagen with the song "Le chant de Mallory", which finished in joint 4th place with 14 points alongside the entry by fellow countryman Hugues Aufray who represented Luxembourg.
