"Nur ein Lied" (English: Just a song) was the Austrian entry in the Eurovision Song Contest 1989 in Lausanne, performed by Thomas Forstner on his first appearance for the country.
It finished in 5th place with 97 points, giving the country its best result in thirteen years when it finished in the same position and would remain so until Conchita Wurst gave the country its record-breaking second win a quarter of a century later in Copenhagen.
