Noëlle Cordier is a French retired singer who started her career in the 1960s and released over a dozen singles and studio albums before she was selected to represent her home country in the Eurovision Song Contest 1967 in Vienna with the song "Il doit faire beau là-bas", which finished in 3rd place with 20 points, just two points behind the runner up entry by Sean Dunphy of Ireland.
She made a second attempt to represent her home country three years later but was not selected from the national final, with singer Guy Bonnet going on to represent the country in Amsterdam.
In 1973, she appeared in the rock opera "La Révolution Française" in Paris, and the followingenjoyed success with the song "Tu t'en vas", a duet with singer Alain Barrière, who had represented the country a decade earlier in London with the song "Elle était si jolie", which finished in 5th place.
In 1978, she made one final attempt to represent her home country with the song "Tombe l'eau" but did not win the national final before announcing her retirement in 1981, although she has since appeared infrequently on television shows in her home country.
