Natalia Gordienko is a Moldovan pop singer who began her music career at the age of 15 by appearing in music competitions.
She first represented her home country at the Eurovision Song Contest 2006 in Athens alongside the singer Arsenium and hip hop musician Connect-R with the song "Loca", which finished in 20th place with 22 points in the final.
Returning as a soloist, she was chosen to represent her home country at the Eurovision Song Contest 2020 in Rotterdam with the song "Prison". However, as the Contest was cancelled due to the coronavirus pandemic, the song was not performed.
It was announced that she would return to represent the country at the Eurovision Song Contest 2021 in Rotterdam with the song "Sugar". It successfully qualified from the second semi-final, finishing in 13th place with 115 points.
