Marion Rung is a Finnish singer began her career in 1961 and is among the country's best-selling artists.
She first represented her home country at the Eurovision Song Contest 1962 in Luxembourg City with the song "Tipi-tii", which finished in joint 7th place with 4 points with the entry from Sweden.
She returned to represent the country eleven years later, again in Luxembourg City with the song "Tom Tom Tom", which finished in 6th place with 93 points. This was the country's best result until Lordi's win at the 2006 Contest in Athens.
In 2000, she formed a group called Leidit lavalla with singers Katri Helena (who also represented the country twice in the Contest), Paula Koivuniemi and Lea Laven.
