Mariam Shengelia is a Georgian singer who gained national recognition as a semi-finalist on X Factor Georgia and went on to finish in sixth place in Geostar, which selected the country's representative for the ultimately cancelled Eurovision Song Contest 2020. Following this, she was scheduled to be a backing vocalist for winner Tornike Kipiani's song "Take Me as I Am".
In 2021, she reached the semi-finals of the fourth season of The Voice Sakartvelo in 2025 finished as runner up on Tsekvaven Varskvlavebi, the national syndication of Dancing with the Stars.
She was internally selected to represent her home country in the Eurovision Song Contest 2025 in Basel with the song "Freedom", which failed to qualify from the second semi-final.
