Live Report were a British band led by Malta-born singer Ray Caruana consisting of John Beeby, Brian Hodgson, Maggie Jay, Mike Bell and Peter May. Hodgson had previously been a musician, producer and composer and former member of the UK pop group Matchbox, writing many of their 8 hits in the UK.

The band are best known for representing their nation in the Eurovision Song Contest 1989 in Lausanne with the song "Why Do I Always Get it Wrong?", which finished as runner up with 130 points to the entry "Rock Me" by the group Riva of Yugoslavia with just 7 points separating both entries. It was the nation's record-extending thirteenth time in this position.

Post-Contest, the band went their separate ways and Caruna attempted to represent the nation as a soloist in 1994, finishing as runner up in the national final to the song "We Will Be Free (Lonely Symphony)" by Frances Ruffelle.
