Lena Meyer-Landrut, also known mononymously as Lena, is a German singer-songwriter who started her music career in 2010. To date, she has released five studio albums, all of which have reached the Top 2 in her home country, and several singles.
She came to fame when she was chosen to represent her home country in the Eurovision Song Contest 2010 in Oslo with the song "Satellite". She went on to win the Contest with 246 points, giving the country its second win - its first in 28 years - as well as it being the first of the "Big Four" countries to win the Contest. It was also its first victory since reunification.
Returning as the country's representative on home soil in Düsseldorf the following year, she performed the song "Taken by a Stranger", finishing in 10th place with 107 points.
She has also done television work as a coach on five seasons of The Voice Kids as well as being a judge on the fourth season of the German version of the show The Best Singers.
