Lado Leskovar is a Slovenian singer actor who started his career as part of children's music and drama groups and made his onscreen debut in the 1951 film Kekec. Having been born into a musical family, he started performing at youth dance parties with an orchestra and since 1958 has entertained guests professionally on the hotel terraces of Portorož.

Having already released several records, he was selected to represent Yugoslavia in the Eurovision Song Contest 1967 in Vienna with the song "Vse rože sveta", which finished in joint 8th place with 7 points alongside the entries by Östen Warnerbring from Sweden and Inge Brück from Germany respectively.

Post-Contest he joined the group Pepel in Kri and acted in several films and in the 1980s turned to journalism, working at RTV Slovenia as a commentator.
