Kojo is the professional name of Finnish pop rock singer Timo Kojo who started his career 1977 when his band, Madame George, released their only album, before he went solo. His debut proved a success and his second was also a big seller but his third album flopped.
He is best known for representing his home country in the Eurovision Song Contest 1982 in Harrogate with the song "Nuku pommiin", which finished in last place with the dreaded Nul Points, its fifth time in last place and its third failing to score a single point.
Post-Contest, his career suffered a decline but he has continued to release records on the strength of his Contest appearance.
