Katy Bødtger was a Danish singer who was at the height of her popularity from the late 1950s to the 1980s. She also collaborated for a time with Gustav Winckler.
She is best known to international audiences for representing her home country at the Eurovision Song Contest 1960 in London with the song "Det var en yndig tid", which finished in joint 10th place with 4 points with "Alla andra får varann" by Siw Malmkvist of Sweden.
She died on 1 May 2017 at the age of 84.
