The Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2021 was the 19th edition of the annual Junior Eurovision Song Contest. It was held at La Seine Musicale in Paris, France on 19 December 2021 after the country won for the first time ever, thanks to the song "J'imagine" by Valentina.

The theme of the 2021 edition is Imagine, which was inspired by the title of Valentina's winning song as a way to encourage children to be creative and pursue their dreams. The theme art can be interpreted in several ways: as a rocket shooting towards the sky, a Christmas tree (as the contest takes place less than a week before Christmas), and the Eiffel Tower (Paris' most recognized landmark).

The show was presented by Miss France 2001 Élodie Gossuin, best known for being the French spokesperson for the Eurovision Song Contest between 2016 and 2018; Olivier Minne, former French ESC commentator and current host of the long-running game show Fort Boyard; and Carla, who represented France at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2019 with the song "Bim bam toi".

Nineteen countries were confirmed for the 2021 event. Albania, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Bulgaria, Ireland, Italy, North Macedonia and Portugal all returned after time away. Belarus did not participate due to the expulsion of BTRC from the EBU on 1 July 2021, making the Netherlands the only country to have participated in every JESC edition thus far.

The winner was Armenia with "Qami Qami" by Maléna. Completing the podium was Poland with "Somebody" by Sara James and host country France with "Tic Tac" by Enzo.
