The Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2020 was the 18th edition of the annual Junior Eurovision Song Contest. It was held in Poland after the country won for the second year in row thanks to the song "Superhero" by Viki Gabor. This marked the first time the winning country has hosted twice in row.
Germany made its debut, meanwhile Albania, Australia, Ireland, Italy, North Macedonia, Portugal and Wales all withdrew from competing.
France was crowned the winner with 200 points, claiming it's first-ever victory with the song "J'imagine" by Valentina.

Due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, the Contest took place in the TVP Studios Headquarters while all of the competing entries were performed in a studio in each of the participating countries.
