José Guardiola was a Spanish singer who recorded songs in Spanish and Catalan and reached the height of his popularity during the 1960s.
He was best known internationally for representing his home country at the Eurovision Song Contest 1963 with the song "Algo prodigioso", which finished in 12th place with 2 points.
He retired in 2008 and died on 9 April 2012 at the age of 81.
