Jean Philippe Gargantiel, known professionally by his first and middle names, was a French singer who was popular during the 1950s and 1960s.

He was chosen to represent his home country at the Eurovision Song Contest 1959 on home soil in Cannes with the song "Oui, oui, oui, oui", finishing in 3rd place with 15 points.

He returned to represent Switzerland at the Eurovision Song Contest 1962 in Luxembourg City with the song "Le retour", finishing in joint 10th place with 2 points. This appearance made him the first act to represent two different countries in the Contest.

He died on 7 January 2022 at the age of 91.
