Isabelle Aubret is the stage name of French singer Thérèse Coquerelle who began her career in the late 1950s. Throughout her career she has released more than twenty albums and continues to perform today.
She was internally selected to represent her home country at the Eurovision Song Contest 1962 in Luxembourg with the song "Un premier amour", giving the country its third win in five years.
She returned to represent the country a second time at the Eurovision Song Contest 1968 in London with the song "La source", which finished in 3rd place with 20 points, behind the entries from runner-up United Kingdom and winner Spain.
