Esther Ofarim is an Israeli singer who began her career in 1958 when she married singer Abi Ofarim and started the duo Esther & Abi.

She is best known internationally for representing Switzerland at the Eurovision Song Contest 1963 in London with the song "T'en va pas", which finished as runner up by two points to "Dansevise" by Grethe & Jørgen Ingmann.

Post-Contest, she continued to tour with her husband as Esther & Abi, which saw their popularity rise in German-speaking Europe, where they scored many chart hits. They continued to tour and even hit the top of the UK charts in 1968. They divorced in 1970 and Esther embarked on successful solo career, which has seen her release two solo album and have her music featured in films.
