Engelbert Humperdinck (born Arnold George Dorsey) is an Indian-born English singer and in a career spanning five decades is one of a handful of artists to have two million-selling singles on the UK charts while selling millions of records worldwide.
On 1 March 2012, the UK's broadcaster, the BBC announced that Humperdinck would represent the UK in the final of the Eurovision Song Contest, held in Baku, in Azerbaijan, on 26 May. He finished in 25th place with 12 points. He is the oldest participant to represent his home nation at the Contest.
