"Embers" was the United Kingdom's entry in the Eurovision Song Contest 2021 in Rotterdam, co-written and performed by James Newman, who had been chosen to represent the nation the previous year before the Contest was cancelled due to the coronavirus pandemic.
As the nation is a member of the "Big Five", it had direct qualification for the final but suffered the same fate as Jemini's "Cry Baby" when it failed to secure a single point from both the jury vote and televote.
