Elina Nechayeva is an Estonian soprano who began her music career in 2009 as a participant on the third season of Eesti otsib superstaari where she was eliminated during the preliminary girls' round.
Three years after graduating from Tallinn French School, she participated on another television show called Klassikatähed, where she ended up as one of three finalists. Two years later, she graduated from the Estonian Academy of Music and Theatre with a master's degree in classical singing.
After co-hosting the Estonian national finals in 2017, she won the right to represent her home country in the Eurovision Song Contest 2018 in Lisbon with the song "La forza". She performed in the first semi-final and qualified for the final where it finished in 8th place with 245 points.
She appeared as herself in a sing-a-long scene in the 2020 Will Ferrell film Eurovision Song Contest: The Story of Fire Saga.
