"Dying to Try" was the Irish entry in the Eurovision Song Contest 2017 in Kiev, performed by Brendan Murray.
Co-written by English singer-songwriter James Newman, it was performed during the second semi-final but failed to advance to the final, meaning the country had failed to reach this stage for the fourth successive year and seventh year overall.
