Da Vinci

Da Vinci is a Portuguese band formed in 1983 currently consisting of founding members Iei-Or and Pedro Luís Neves. Other members included Ricardo, Joaquim Andrade, Dora and Sandra Fidalgo, among others throughout the years. Ricardo was later involved in an aviation accident and was subsequently replaced by Tó.

They are best known for representing their home country in the Eurovision Song Contest 1989 with the song "Conquistador", which finished in 16th place with 39 points, just 6 points behind the entry by Justine Pelmelay of The Netherlands.
