Cornelia 'Conny' Froboess is a German actress and teen idol of the 1950s and 1960s. She scored her first hit record in 1951 at the age of eight, which became a hit in her homeland.
She is best known internationally for representing her home country at the Eurovision Song Contest 1962 in Luxembourg City with the song "Zwei kleine Italiener", which finished in 6th place with 9 points.
Post-Contest, she moved into the world of acting and has spent over six decades on stage and screen.
