Eurovision Song Contest Wiki

Chocolate, Menta, Mastik was an Israeli all-female vocal trio form in 1972 consisting of Yardena Arazi, Ruti Holtzman, Leah Lupatin and sometimes Tami Azaria. They served in the IDF as part of the Nahal Ensemble and released several singles and studio albums.

They are best known internationally for representing their home country in the Eurovision Song Contest 1976 in The Hague with the song "Emor Shalom", which finished in 6th place with 77 points, eclipsing the previous year's result by giving the country its best result since it had begun participating.

Post-Contest, they continued to be successful in their home country and toured internationally before splitting in 1978. Leah Lupatin went on to replace Gali Atari as the lead singer of Milk & Honey for live performances and coincidentally Yardena Arazi hosted the 1979 Contest that the group won, giving the country its second consecutive win, and represented the country at the 1988 Contest in Dublin.
