Carol Rich is the stage name of Swiss singer Anne-Lyse Caille who started her career in 1984 and to date has released several albums and singles.
After failing to represent her home country three years earlier, she was finally selected to do so in the Eurovision Song Contest 1987 in Brussels with the song "Moitié-moitié", which finished in 17th place with 26 points, just 2 points behind the entry by Halla Margrét of Iceland, giving the country its worst result in three years.
In 1990, following a move to Paris, she worked with Francis Lai and Roland Romanelli before taking a lengthy career break to raise a family. She returned to performing in 1999, now with a mixed repertoire of popular songs, traditional chansons and gospel music.
