Brita Borg was a Swedish singer and variety performer whose career spanned from the 1940s to 1980s, with a noticeable decline from the 1970s.
She is best known to international audiences for representing her home country in the Eurovision Song Contest 1959 in Cannes with the song "Augustin", which finished in joint 9th place with 4 points alongside the entry from Austria.
She died on 4 May 2010 at the age of 83.
