Betty is the professional name of Armenian singer Elizabeth Danielyan who started her career at the age of six by attending professional singing classes and individual dancing classes.
In 2012, she ventured into television presenting and took part in several competitions such as the “Junior New Wave" international contest in 2012 and the "Kangoroo" mathematical contest. In the summer of that year she took part in Junior Sports Olympiad and win four golden medals in mini golf, dart and jenga.
She is best known internationally for representing her home country in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2014 in Marsa with the song "People of the Sun", which finished in 3rd place with 146 points, just a single point behind the runner up entry by Krisia, Hasan & Ibrahim of Bulgaria.
