Basim is the stage name of Danish singer and songwriter Anis Basim Moujahid. He came to fame in 2008 as a participant in the first season of the national syndication of The X Factor, where he was eliminated in the sixth week of the live shows. To date, he has released two studio albums, one EP and several singles.
He was selected to represent his country on home soil with the song "Cliché Love Song", which finished in 9th place with 74 points.
