Barei is the stage name of Spanish singer-songwriter Bárbara Reyzábal González-Aller.
She began her career aged 16 by recording covers of songs by artists such as Christina Aguilera and in 2001 took part in the Benidorm International Song Festival together with Gonzalo Nuche as part of a duo known as Dos Puntos, finishing as runner up. To date, she has released four studio albums and several singles.
As she represented a "Big Five" nation in the Eurovision Song Contest 2016 in Stockholm, she had direct qualification for the final with the song "Say Yay!", the first-ever Spanish entry not to contain any Spanish lyrics. It finished in 22nd place with 77 points.
