Athena Manoukian is a Greek-Armenian singer-songwriter who began her career in 2007 when she won first prize at a talent competition. The following year she attempted to represent her home country in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2008, but finished in seventh place in the national final.

To date, she has released four singles and has written songs for other artists, including Helena Paparizou, who won the Eurovision Song Contest 2005 in Kiev for Greece.

She is best known to UK audiences for auditioning for the 2018 series of The X Factor UK, where she impressed the judges. However, she did not make it to the live shows.

She was selected to represent Armenia at the Eurovision Song Contest 2020 in Rotterdam with the song "Chains on You". However, due to the coronavirus pandemic, the Contest was cancelled so she did not perform.
