Anouk Teeuwe, commonly known as Anouk, is a Dutch singer-songwriter who began her career in 1997 with the release of her single "Nobody's Wife", which became a huge hit on the Dutch charts. She remains one of the biggest-selling artists in her homeland, with nine studio albums, eight of which have topped the charts.
She represented her home country in the Eurovision Song Contest 2013 with the song "Birds". She performed in the first semi-final and became the first Dutch act to qualify for the final in nine years, finishing in 9th place with 114 points - the country's best result since 1999.
