Anne-Karine Strøm is a Norwegian singer who started her career in the 1970s as part of the group Bendik Singers with Ellen Nikolaysen and brothers Bjørn and Philip Kruse.
A six time participant in the national final, she was first selected to represent her home country with her bandmates in the Eurovision Song Contest 1973 in Luxembourg City with the song "It's Just a Game", which finished in 7th place with 89 points - the country's best result in seven years.
After her bandmate Ellen Nikolaysen had represented their country the previous year in Stockholm, she returned as a soloist in the 1976 Contest in The Hague with the song "Mata Hari", finishing in second-last place with just 7 points. With two last place results from three appearances, this makes her the country's least successful participant and the only one to finish in last place twice.
