Ann-Christine was the professional name of Finnish singer Ann-Christine Nyström-Silén. She started her career in 1962, releasing several singles.
She came to international attention when she was selected to represent her home country in the Eurovision Song Contest 1966 in Luxembourg City with the song "Playboy", which finished in joint 10th place with 7 points alongside the entries from Germany and Luxembourg respectively.
Post-Contest, she continued to release music until 1973 when she decided to retire from the industry and move to Stockholm where she lived until her death on 5 October 2022 at the age of 78.
