Anjeza Shahini is an Albanian singer who came to fame after winning the first season of Friday Night Fever, the national version of the Idol franchise, in 2003.
The following year, she was chosen to represent her home country in Istanbul on its debut in the Contest where she became the first participant from her country in the newly-introduced semi-final with the song "The Image of You", successfully qualifying for the final and finishing in 7th place with 106 points.
