Anita Skorgan is a Norwegian singer-songwriter who started her career in the 1970s and is best known for her multiple participations, both as a singer and as a songwriter.
She made one final appearance alongside her then-partner Jahn Teigenthree years later in Harrogate, representing their home country with the song "Adieu", which finished in 12th place with 40 points, just nine points behind the entry by The Duskeys of Ireland.
Aside from her onstage performances in her own right, she also co-wrote and appeared at the 1983 Contest in Munich as a backing singer for Teigen's entry "Do Re Mi", which emerged as his best result by finishing in 9th place with 53 points. She also co-wrote the country's entry by Karoline Krüger in the 1988 Contest in Dublin, which gave Skorgan her best-ever Eurovision result as a performer or writer by finishing in 5th place.
From 1984 to 1988 she was married to Jahn Teigen and they had a daughter, Sara.
