Amir Haddad, known professionally by his first name, is a French-Israeli singer-songwriter. He came to fame in 2006 when he participated in the Israeli talent show Kokhav Nolad and finished in third place on the third season of The Voice: La plus belle voix in 2014. To date, he has released three studio albums.
He was selected to represent his home country at the Eurovision Song Contest 2016 in Stockholm with the song "J'ai cherché", which directly qualified for the final due to the country's status as a "Big Five" nation, finishing in 6th place with 257 points, giving the country its best result since the 2002 Contest in Tallinn.
He made a guest appearance in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2023 in Nice to perform the song along with another song "Il y à".
