Alicja Szemplińska is a Polish singer who began her career in 2016 when she won the talent show Hit, Hit, Hurray!. Three years later, she won the tenth season of The Voice of Poland. To date, she has released two singles.
She was selected to represent her home country at the Eurovision Song Contest 2020 in Rotterdam with the song "Empires". However, as the Contest was cancelled due to the coronavirus pandemic, it was not performed.
