Aimee Banks is an Irish soprano who started her career when she was chosen to represent her home country on its debut in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2015 in Sofia with the song "Réalta na mara", the country's first entry in its national language in over four decades. It finished in 12th place with 36 points.
Post-Contest, she participated in several music festivals in her home country as well as the United Kingdom and the United States and has won several awards. She also released her debut album with the proceeds going to charity.
