Achille Lauro is the stage name of Italian singer-songwriter and rapper Lauro De Marinis. He started his career in 2012 and to date has released eight studio albums, one EP, two mixtapes and several singles, both as a soloist and a featured artist. He has also attempted to represent his home country three times at the Contest.
Having also competed to represent San Marino, he was selected to do so on the third attempt at the Eurovision Song Contest 2022 in Turin with the "Stripper", which failed to qualify from the second semi-final.
