Östen Warnerbring was a Swedish singer, musician, composer and lyrics writer whose career crossed several genres, earning him the nickname "Östen with the Voice". A popular cabaret artist, he also performed in musicals and on television.
He is best known for representing his home country in the Eurovision Song Contest 1967 in Vienna with the song "Som en dröm", which finished in joint 8th place with 7 points alongside the entries by Inge Brück of Germany and Lado Leskovar of Yugoslavia respectively.
He made a final appearance in Melodifestivalen in 1974 with a self-penned entry, but finished in last place in a year that saw his home country claim its first-ever win with the song "Waterloo" by the group ABBA.
He died on 18 January 2006 at the age of 71.
